Food Delivery: Tourists Can Use Baemin and Coupang Eats

According to a report from late July 2026, Baemin opened orders with foreign cards and Apple Pay without a Korean number. Coupang Eats has an English interface, but depending on the area, verification may be required.

Checked on Source date
Baemin
On July 29, 2026, Seoul City and Baemin announced they would "lower the barriers of phone numbers and foreign cards." The reports do not give a specific start date, so check in the app yourself
Coupang Eats
English interface and foreign cards are possible. Some cases reportedly require a Korean number or an Alien Registration Card (needs verification)
Yogiyo
Requires a Korean number and an Alien Registration Card, so not recommended for tourists
Where to receive
You can order to your hotel (ask the staff to help with the Korean address). There was also an event at designated Han River Park zones
Proxy services
Some services order for you via KakaoTalk (around 3,500 won per order)
Pay on delivery
I couldn't find a source confirming whether tourists can use it (needs verification)

App policies change quickly. This is a summary of reports and guides as of the checked date, and has not been verified by ordering directly.

How to do it

  1. Switch the app language to Japanese or English and try ordering as a non-member with SMS verification from an overseas number.
  2. Enter the hotel's Korean address along with a map pin, and write your room number in the request field.
  3. If you get blocked, switch to Coupang Eats, then to a proxy service.

Korean to show on the spot

호텔 프런트에서 받을게요.

I'll pick it up at the hotel front desk.
