Whether a payment is approved varies by card issuer, shop, and timing. Don't rely on a single payment method.

How to do it

  1. Prepare two physical cards (e.g., Visa and Mastercard) and a small amount of cash.
  2. Before ordering, ask first: "Do you take cards?"
  3. Before you leave, turn on overseas payments in your card issuer's app and check your billing address.
